Our Mission
We are a community that exists to respond to the reduced community engagement, isolation, and lack of vocational opportunities and training that so many adolescents and young adults with disabilities experience.
Our mission is to provide purposeful, meaningful work opportunities and to offer a supportive community of belonging.
The RISE Community will offer social engagement opportunities as well as training to create high, quality handmade products and as means to learning valuable, dignified vocational skills and broadening the means of engaging with the community.

It is not just allowing others to be IN the community but ensuring they have a seat at the table and their voice is heard. It goes beyond the idea of simple “acceptance” by working together to encourage growth and ensure people feel they are valued and wanted.
Supportive
Support is the essence of community. Despite how we often think and operate, we never do anything alone. We ALL need each other, and all need different levels and types of support in order to thrive.

Our Story
RISE was established because we believe that everyone has a purpose and we will strive to empower individuals to feel a true sense of belonging and purpose within the community. Through education and shared experiences we aim to challenge the idea of what belonging means by promoting collaboration. We aim to ensure that individuals with disabilities can contribute and make meaningful connections while contributing to their community.
